David Broughton’s 1932 tourer. Bought by David’s father to “keep him off the streets”!
Eve, as she is known, in good company!
She has been used as a wedding car for both David’s daughters. Eve is now about to have a makeover with a new hood.
Del has high hopes for not using his trailer next time
Del Rhys has pictures of two cars in his family stable. A 1932 AF four seat tourer and 1934 Box. This photo was taken during the 2013 Bryngarw Rally
The 1934 Box during a trip to Mold. Running repairs with John Williams.
David Laviers recent (15/03/20) purchase, a June 1937 Ruby Mk2, registration 339 UXW known as “Jane” (Jane Austen!)
The car was restored in 2008 but has only done 200 miles since.
David is currently working on the brakes, transmission, fuel supply and steering. Future jobs include kingpin renewal and a steering box rebuild
Jan Ziomek has been working for five years on this 1934 Special.
The construction is aluminium on square tube, all achieved with limited facilities!
Its use is aimed at “light” VSCC trials and it will have two spare wheels and space for tools and clothing plus some all important space for its older owners!
